Ashley
Chief Executive Officer

Ashley began working events with her aunt at the early age of 14. Setting tables, decorating, and serving guests sparked an interest that would lead to a joyous career. She developed a wedding planning guide for WNC at age 17 and fell in love with the industry working with multiple vendors and coaching small business owners while completing her BSBA and MSHR at Western Carolina University. Somewhere along the way, she earned a Pink Cadillac with Mary Kay and developed a passion for building relationships and helping other women feel empowered to make big things happen. She's a natural problem solver and would love nothing more than to make your wedding dreams come true!
In her spare time, she enjoys family time with her husband and children, coaching her daughter's competitive cheer team, getting out to admire the gorgeous Great Smoky Mountains, and live music.
With a passion for crafting and creating beautiful things, Teresa began making floral arrangements and designing decor for weddings in 2000. She opened her own shop in 2006 and started coordinating weddings for family and friends. Weddings quickly became her passion as she continued to bring each bride's vision to life. Ashley coordinated Teresa's daughter's wedding in 2019 and the two decided to work together almost immediately. Teresa has been an asset to the Avail Weddings team from the beginning, making every client feel like family. Her contagious personality is sure to keep you laughing!
Outside of weddings, she can be found loving on her grandchildren, crafting and enjoying trips to the lake with her family.

Meet Francis, a creative force with a love for graphic design, space arrangement, and impeccable organization. With a knack for orchestrating family events and exploring beautiful destinations, especially beaches, Francis brings a unique touch to the world of wedding planning at Avail Weddings. Emotionally connected to weddings, the sight of a bride's entrance triggers memories of Francis's five sisters embarking on their own captivating journeys.
Francis stands out with a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for crafting unforgettable moments. From curating every element with precision to ensuring each couple's unique story shines through, Francis is committed to delivering top-notch service. With a heartfelt dedication to making dreams a reality, Francis looks forward to being a part of every couple's special day, creating a celebration that truly reflects their love and commitment.
Ashlyn
Lead Coordinator
During her wedding planning process, Ashlyn realized how fun it can be to make dreams come true on event days. She has always loved hosting family and friends and creating something unique for others to enjoy. Her favorite thing about each event is seeing how all the small details come together to match the clients' vision, and the feeling that our brides are more than just clients, they are our friends. After her own wedding day as an Avail bride, Ashlyn was excited to join the team that worked so hard to make her wedding day perfect.
Ashlyn is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, but grew up in Franklin, NC beginning at the age of 7. She graduated from WCU with a bachelor's in Management and a bachelor's in Marketing. In her free time, you can find her traveling the world, helping with a community cheer team, loving married life, and being an amazing dog mom!
Madison
Lead Coordinator
Special Events & Bar Team
Madison has had a passion for organizing and planning events since she was a child, creating small elements to enrich and bring them to life. In planning her own wedding, she loved watching little details bring the overall vision together while adding personal touches that made her event unique. Madison's favorite part of a wedding is the recessional - seeing two people walk back down the aisle as one, feeling on top of the world, and seeing the nerves completely disappear as they start their journey as husband and wife. She believes our WNC mountains are the perfect backdrop for any event and looks forward to working with new clients to create their dream day.
When she's not working on weddings and events, you can find Madison hiking, chasing waterfalls, gardening and spending time outdoors. She enjoys cooking/baking and spending time with her husband, their baby Barrett, and their furry babes.
Angela
Officiant, Bar Team &
Coordinator
Angela's love of connecting with new people shines bright in all aspects of her roles on our team. As a middle school principal, she's highly skilled in keeping the attention of the crowd during ceremonies in which she officiates. She loves getting to know her couples personally so that every ceremony can be a unique representation of their individual love story. We might be a little biased, but we feel like her ceremonies are the absolute sweetest you'll find anywhere in WNC.
Angela has been a part of the Avail team since 2020 when she joined us as a lead bartender, and has been a close friend of the team for many years prior. If you're looking for great advice on bar menu planning, or conversation about great cocktail options, she's your girl.
In her free time, Angela loves spending time with her family, taking her dog Rocco for walks, watch TV, taking a good nap, watching her daughter play softball at Lander University, and planning fun activities with her Avail family.
Rose joined the Avail team while completing her studies at Western Carolina University, after spending many of her college years working in the wedding industry. She brings a happy and bubbly fun personality to our wedding day teams, along with a strong skillset for problem-solving logistics behind the scenes. Rose is a member of our coordination team as well as our bar and venue management teams, making her a great asset to any day-of lineup.
She's a true animal lover, spending most of her daytime hours working at a local animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. Her free time is spent adventuring with her dog and best friend, Kiona.

As a wedding makeup artist, Taylor has always been eager to jump in and help with any wedding related task. Once she became a bride in 2020, she fell in love with the organizational side of events. The planning process gave her the fulfillment and excitement that she had dreamt of from a young age, so when her fairytale day came to a close, there was no better solution than to spread the love to other brides. After running to the rescue of another bride who left their veil at home [5 hours away], Taylor officially joined our team and has continued expand on her wedding knowledge. Her bubbly personality and great sense of humor make her a valuable asset at any event. She has no shame in joining you on the dance floor if you need help getting your party motivated!
Away from weddings and makeup, Taylor loves to cuddle up on the couch with her husband watching Friends on TV, spending time with family and friends from the salon, or enjoying a great podcast. She's also a sucker for good show-tunes! Taylor says she is "ecstatic to work with Ashley and her team to ensure that every bride and groom receive their own fairytale wedding, as Avail gave me my own!"
Kayla

Kayla's love of all things crafty makes her the perfect fit for planning and design. After planning weddings and events for her family and close friends, she knew she wanted to spend her life in the wedding industry. That led her to complete the Wedding Planning Diploma program where she was professionally trained to plan and execute stress-free events that bring her clients' vision to life. Prior to her life as a wedding planner, Kayla also obtained a Pre-Medical Bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University.
She loves watching her clients embark on their new journey together as husband and wife, and enjoys building relationships with her clients that last beyond their wedding day. Kayla finds so much beauty in the small details and enjoys taking the lead in decor setup.
When Kayla isn't participating in weddings or events, she enjoys hand lettering, crafting, reading, fishing, and most of all, spending time with her sweet son, Amari.
